Steve and Gavin got here yesterday. That was fun to show someone "new" around the house again. Although Steve was here when we first found the house, he didn't remember most of it and was almost seeing it again for the first time. It's been fun to watch Gavin and Dylan running around the yard. It's a good reminder of why we wanted the big house/yard to begin with. It'll great when everyone is here and enjoying it together.

I decided to pull the carpet up in the last room last night so I can get it all out. The wood underneath is in good shape, but there was about an inch of dust under the pad. Disgusting!!!! I gave up on that project so I need to finish it today. We're also just about done with the floors we've refinished. It's been a long project, but they look good. Tiffany is pretty ready to be done with that.

I got to sleep in a real bed last night!!!! This was especially exciting because it's been about 3 weeks since I've slept in a bed. Steve helped me bring in my mattresses and I put our real bed together. I slept in this morning so I could enjoy it. It was great! Sitting on the porch again now. I started class last Tuesday, so I really should be working on homework, but I'm having a hard time getting into the swing of things. (can't imagine why...) I'd like to try to set up some kind of office for myself today as well. We'll see. The list of things keeps growing but it'll all work out. I'm just trying to keep busy until Sean, Melody and my dad get here now. I don't think I'll run out of things to do...just a matter of prioritizing them all.
